"The
response from the public has been overwhelming,"
said Pat Shepherd, president and CEO of the new bank.
The Bank of
Georgia is a locally owned and managed community bank.
"We
take the time to know our customers. All loan decisions
are made right here by real bankers. We don't fill out
forms to send to a computer in another state," said
Shepherd.
The new
bank opened with 13 employees and is anxious to serve new
customers throughout the county.
