Unfortunately, we did not

get all the names of our volunteers, but the smiling

faces and willing spirits were much appreciated. To all

of those who attended and helped, we thank you.

We would also like to thank

Miss Kathy Sumpter, the Starrs Mill High School student

who initiated the bulb planting and organized many young

volunteers to help implement the project.

A big thank you also goes

to the individuals and local companies that made

donations to finance the project: Edna Lamont of Vero

Beach, Fla., Partners II Pizza, Continuous Forms and

Checks, FC&A, and Panasonic. Their generosity allowed

the Beautification Committee to purchase the additional

trees and daffodil bulbs for this year's project.

Finally, we would like to

express our appreciation to the landscape crew from

Peachtree City's Public Works Department. Their direction

and assistance was invaluable, and their hard work

allowed the project to be completed by noon.
