3. In the event of
a loss of electrical power, limited shelter may
be made available at the Gathering Place (203
McIntosh Trail) for Peachtree City residents with
medical or other short-term special needs that
require a controlled climate or access to
electrical power (for medical devices such as an
oxygen concentrator). These individuals should
make prior arrangements with the Peachtree City
Fire Department by calling Neely Station at
770-631-2526.
No pets will be
allowed at the shelter, and the shelter will not
be available for the general public.
Residents are
responsible for ensuring they have appropriate
supplies of food, water and medication on hand
for any emergencies that result in power outages.
