The
Chamber, working with the Georgia Department of Labor and
the Georgia Department of Industry, Trade and Tourism,
met with Shaw Industries officials to plan a course of
action to assist the employees at the company.
Job fairs
will held for hourly workers on Nov. 16 and 17 from 6-9
p.m. at Smokey Road Middle School. The company will also
hold a job fair for salaried workers from 5-6 p.m.on
November 16.
