There will be Fall fast

pitch softball clinics from 1-4 p.m. held over the next

several Saturdays. It will be held at at McCurry Park

There will be an

organizational meeting for basketball leagues on Oct. 7

at Kedron Fieldhouse and Aquatic Center at 7:30 p.m.There

will be three leagues, over 35, open, and industrial.

Open will play on Thursday nights and the others will

play on Tuesday nights The cost is $375 for ten games

with a tournament. The leagues will begin in November.

The Sharpsburg Cyclones, a

14 and under Girls Softball travel team, will hold

tryouts at 2 p.m. on Sundays, Oct. 17 and 24 at Whitlock

Callaway Gardens will be held on Saturday Nov. 6. there

will entertainment, food, art, and the heart stopping

thrills of horse racing. Admission ranges from the family

The Soccer Centre in

Fayetteville will hold an indoor soccer skills camp on

Friday, Oct. 15. Sharpen your skills with the

professionals: Mike Balson, Ian Gillies, and Angus

McAlpine. Players can choose either the half day camp

(9a.m.-12:30 p.m.) or the full day (9 a.m.-4 p.m.) Call

accepting reistrations for the Winter Indoor Youth Soccer

Registration for the

McIntosh Classic 5K run and walk, sponsored By Clayton

College and State University, is underway. The race will

be held on Sunday, Oct. 10. Part of the festivities will

also be the 2Kdog jog. The 2K race begins at 2;30 p.m.

and the 5K begins at 3:30. Entry fees are $13 early and
