Mothers and daughters who are members of Fayette Assembly

of God held a "Chasti-Tea" to discuss remaining pure until marriage.

The event began at Village Cafe and then moved to the home of Mike

and Pam Carithers of Fayetteville. According to Sherry Griffith, the

event was organized to open lines of communication about abstinence.

Each young woman pledged to God and her mother that she would

remain celibate until marriage and was photographed wearing a bridal veil.
