Mrs. Julia W. Williamson of Newnan died Friday Dec. 30, 2011.
Mrs. Williamson was a member of Cokes Chapel United Methodist Church.
She retired from Ga. Tech as a bookkeeper in the college book store.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hugh A. Williamson.
She is survived by her daughter Judy Brinson and her husband David of Newnan; grandchildren Tommy Brinson and his wife Lara of Grovetown, Ga.; Jennifer Philpott and her husband Joe of Bonaire, Ga.; great grandchild, Stiles Lee Brinson of Grovetown; sister-in- law Shirley Woods of Nashville, Tenn.; nieces and nephews, Curtis Woods and his wife Darlene of Birmingham; Dr. Marcella Woods and her husband Dr. Patrick Norris of Nashville; great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday Jan. 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City. Rev. John Hagen officiated.
Interment services followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family received friends Sunday Jan. 1, 2012 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
