Words can carry a lot of weight. Rising Starr Middle counselor Terese Crittenden spoke to 6th graders about how the words we use can define who we are, impact lives, and shape culture.
Crittenden urged the young Panthers to use their words to speak truth, helpfulness, inspiration, and kindness and build each other up.
“The purpose of this lesson was to promote class unity because at the end of the day everyone wants to belong, to feel valued, and be accepted.”
