I first met Cathy five years ago when I starting banking at her place of work. Since then, I have had the pleasure of getting to know Cathy and her family as we are both members of Liberty Baptist Church. Cathy is a wonderful Christian lady who loves the Lord. That love shines bright wherever she goes and so I’m writing to tell you why Fayetteville needs Cathy on the City Council.
Cathy will bring to the council her banking background, her leadership skills and her love for our great city. She has worked in the banking industry for 27 years. That background will serve us well when it comes to balancing our budget and dealing with the fiscal responsibility issues of the city.
She believes that we need to make our city business-friendly so that our various business organizations can attract more companies to move to Fayetteville.
Cathy has been involved in the community for years. She has served in various positions on various civic organizations such as the Fayetteville Rotary Club and the Mainstreet Fayetteville Board. She loves this city and her goal is to help Fayetteville grow while preserving the traditions it holds for her future grandchildren.
Cathy Cochran will bring a fresh perspective to the City Council. I encourage everyone to vote for her for City Council, Post 2 on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
