Mrs. Lucy H. Yancey, 89, of Fayetteville, passed away July 20, 2011.

She was currently residing at Heritage Assisted Living in Fayetteville. Mrs. Yancey was born in Jacksonville, FL to John William Hosford & Roxia Thomas Hosford. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Tallahassee. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Yancey.

Survivors include her daughter Barbara Skipper & husband Lee of Peachtree City; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren along with several nieces & nephews. Lucy Yancey was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Tallahassee, Florida.
