The Fayette County Library is joining with the Georgia Legal Services Program – Piedmont Regional Office to bring the “Ask a Lawyer Day” to the library in Fayetteville.
The Georgia Legal Services Program provides free legal assistance to Georgians who live outside of the five-county metropolitan Atlanta area. Attorneys will be available to give free brief legal advice in the following specialized areas: Senior Law, Consumer Law, Estates and Wills.
“Ask a Lawyer Day” will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. No appointment or pre-registration required. Light refreshments will be served.
The Georgia Legal Services Program is a nonprofit corporation whose mission is to provide civil legal services for persons with low incomes, creating equal access to justice and opportunities out of poverty. Serving counties outside of the five county metropolitan Atlanta area: Bartow, Carroll, Coweta, Douglas, Fayette, Floyd, Gordon, Haralson, Heard, Henry, Newton, Paulding, Polk, Rockdale and Spalding.
The Fayette County Public Library is located at 1821 Heritage Way, Fayetteville, GA. All workshops are free and open to the public.
