Prepare for detour next Friday through Sunday —
Motorists using Ga. Highway 54 east of Fayetteville should be aware that a portion of the roadway will be closed to through traffic from the nighttime hours of Nov. 1 through the early morning hours of Nov. 4.
Hwy. 54 from Banks Road on the west to Corinth Road on the east will be closed to through-traffic beginning Friday, Nov. 1 at 9 p.m. until Monday, Nov. 4 at 5 a.m. for bridge work at Morning Creek.
Through-traffic will be detoured at Corinth and Banks roads to Ga. Highway 85.
