During his visit, Commander Foster met with government officials, toured VA facilities and briefed his fellow Legionnaires on the many issues affecting veterans. The American Legion is the nation’s largest veterans organization with over 2.5 million members, all former veterans or currently serving in the military. Commander Foster, who served in both the Marine Corps and the Army, is shown with Denny Leander, Fayette County Post 105 Commander. Also pictured is Larry Newsome, Post Adjutant and B.I.
