Leadership Fayette is now accepting applications for its 2018 class. Produced by the Fayette Chamber of Commerce, the program provides existing and emerging leaders with opportunities to enhance their civic knowledge of Fayette County, hone their leadership skills and network with leaders across the community.

Open to anyone in Fayette County, Leadership Fayette consists of a two-day orientation retreat, and eight full-day sessions held starting this August and wrapping up in April 2018. The program culminates with a class capstone project applying what was learned in class sessions to assess Fayette’s civic health.

Leadership Fayette advisory committee, composed of program alumni and program chairs, oversees the application, interview and selection process. Members of the 2018 class will be announced July 15.

Interested candidates can find program details, application, tuition information and selection process deadlines on the Fayette Chamber website (www.FayetteChamber.org).

Panasonic Automotive Systems Company of America is the presenting sponsor of the 2017-2018 program.

For more than 30 years, the program has provided participants a better understanding of how the Fayette community works and inspired citizens to utilize their talents to serve the community. During Leadership Fayette, participants will learn about the interdependencies between sectors of the local economy, as well as the interrelationships of a variety of local issues.
