Due to the stormwater drainage work that is to be performed in the coming days, a detour on Booker Avenue in Fayetteville has been set to redirect onto Holly Avenue to bypass the work zone area. The work is scheduled to begin this week, weather permitting, and should last for two days. The work consists of removing the existing pavement and curb and gutter and reworking the area to shift stormwater to the south of the roadway to reduce flooding that is occurring in the area.
