Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) Commissioner Bert Brantley and other DDS team members joined Fayetteville Manager Gaile Hughes and Assistant Manager Olympia Osselyn on Dec. 1 as they officially cut the ribbon at the newest DDS location at 749 West Lanier Avenue in Fayetteville. Since opening for business on Oct. 18, the center has served more than 12,000 customers and has an average wait of five minutes and 48 seconds. The new center utilizes customer self-serve tech decks and kiosks to help reduce wait times. Center hours are Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon. Tuesday continues to be the busiest day for service. Photo/Submitted.
