Coweta Charter Academy at Senoia Principal Gene Dunn, along with a number of first grade teachers, made good on their promise to “Kiss the Pig” as part of the school’s successful fundraising efforts for STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) initiatives. The young students in the recent Colt Fun Run raised $28,000, surpassing their goals. Pledges for the students’ efforts came in from 38 states, the United Kingdom, Armenia and Sweden.
