Lois Granger, 97, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully after an extended illness.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Robert Lester Granger and parents, Richard & Mary Devane. She is survived by her daughter Marian (Amos) Speight; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Ret. Gen. James I. (Carolyn) Granger; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Saturday, August 6, 2016, at 2 p.m., at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Dr. Alex Moses officiating. Burial followed at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. The family received friends and family from1-2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to Fayette Presbyterian Church, www.fayettepcusa.org.
