More than $1,200 raised for school

Faculty and staff members of Bennett’s Mill Middle School rallied in conjunction with Spring Hill Elementary during the month of March to raise a little over $1,200 to donate to a local nonprofit, according to a Bennett’s Mill spokesperson.

The recipient is The Joseph Sams School, a private school serving children from birth through 22 years of age who have mild to severe intellectual and/or physical disabilities or diagnosed developed disabilities. The school provides intense educational training as well as speech and language therapy for its students.
