Troop 201 has announced that Benjamin Belisle of Senoia and Michael Runyan of Peachtree City have earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
Belisle organized other troop members in placing a decal or painted stencil on each storm water structure in every subdivision in Senoia. He worked with city manager Richard Ferry to ensure the identification of every storm water structure in each subdivision had a warning that water would return to the streams and river in the area. The streams and rivers supply the residence of Senoia with their drinking water. The city received a mandate from the state government to place a notification of the water return to each water basin. Belisle’s service saved the city man-hours and time.
Runyan’s project was the construction of a chain-linked fence at Starr’s Mill High School. He has worked diligently in obtaining his merit badges along with recently participating in the Northern Tier that the troop attended.
Scoutmaster Dan Kuchenbaker presented both to the Eagle Board of Review to confirm that they have completed all of the necessary requirements given by the Boy Scouts of America.
