The Fayette County Public Art Committee is now calling for nominations for the first ever Local Public Art Awards. The awards are designed to recognize groups or individuals who promote public art in Fayette County in the categories of Educator, Patron, Civic and Performing Art.

The county wants to honor individuals from the community (artists, parents, funders, teachers and leaders of the community or arts organizations, etc.) who demonstrate passion and leadership through public art.

This award is open to any Fayette County resident. Nominators are asked to complete an award nomination form for a specific category. Nomination forms can be found at http://fayettecountyga.gov/public_arts_committee/ or by emailing [email protected].

Completed nomination forms can be submitted via [email protected] or mailed to Fayette Public Art Awards, 140 Stonewall Avenue West, Suite 100, Fayetteville, GA 30214.

If you have any questions, call 770-305-5103.
