Promise Place workshop event to benefit domestic violence victims

Promise Place will host its first annual holistic workshop for healthy living, “Mind.Body.Soul,” Saturday, June 27, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Peachtree City United Methodist Church. This event will feature a series of workshops including; stress management, nutrition, self-defense, yoga, Zumba, and professional shoulder massages.

Tickets are $12 for students and $15 for adults. Tickets include access to each of the workshops, breakfast, lunch, and free childcare for those ten and under. The tickets can be purchased online at www.promiseplace.org or by calling Kennyetta Watkins at 770-461-3839 ext. 411.

Promise Place is a nonprofit agency serving victims of domestic violence and their children in Fayette, Pike, Spalding, and Upson counties.
