Russell George Jameson Sr., age 64 of Sharpsburg, Ga. passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015. He was born in New York City to the late, Elton & Dolores Jameson.
Mr. Jameson was a valued leader for NCR Corporation. He began his career in 1974 as a District Parts Specialist in Jacksonville Fla. and steadily rose to the management ranks of the Logistics Organization. In 2000 he was named VP of Americas Service Logistics and in 2003 he was named VP of Global Service Logistics. He was a leader in Improving Service Logistics and talent around the world. He was a Vietnam Veteran who enlisted to serve his country in 1970.
He is survived by his spouse Jodie Jameson of Sharpsburg Ga., two sons Russell Jameson Jr. and Corey Jameson of Louisville, Ky., a daughter Mellissa Price of Jacksonville. He is also survived by his sisters, Linda Jones of Pace, Fla. & Marilyn Middlebrook of Jacksonville, Fla.; brother, Richard Jameson of Jacksonville, Fla. and 6 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Elton Jameson in 1962 and his mother Dolores Jameson in 2015.
