John Haycock (center, above), local endodontist and Peachtree City resident, has been called to serve as the new bishop of the Whitewater Ward congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Haycock has been married for 20 years to his wife Ashleigh and has six children, including one daughter currently serving an 18-month mission in the Las Vegas area, Spanish speaking. Whitewater Ward congregation has approximately 450 members.
