Kedron, Peeples, and Robert J. Burch Elementary have been named 2026 America’s Healthiest Schools by the Alliance for a Healthier Generation.
Supported by Del Monte Foods, Kaiser Permanente, and Kohl’s Cares, Healthier Generation’s annual award program recognizes schools for implementing evidence-based policies and practices to support academic success and lifelong well-being. Schools are recognized in nine health-related topic areas.
Kedron Elementary was awarded in six topics: School Health Services, Local School Wellness Policy, Nutrition & Food Access, Physical Education & Activity, Tobacco-Free Schools, and Family & Community Engagement.
Peeples Elementary was awarded in two topics: School Health Services and Physical Education & Activity.
Robert J. Burch Elementary was awarded in two topics: School Health Services and Local School Wellness Policy.
The three schools are among 1,376 K–12 schools nationwide celebrated for their commitment to advancing whole child health.
