The public relations department of Fayette County Public Schools recently received honors at both the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Gold Quill Awards and the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) National School Communication Awards.
Public Information Specialist Chris Dunn earned a NSPRA Award of Merit from their Publications & Digital Media Awards. The honor was for distinguished achievement in the category of photo for a picture of the Whitewater High flag football team at the state championship game.
Public Information Officer Melinda Berry Dreisbach was honored by both groups.
The marketing campaign she crafted around Mr. Ted the Crossing Guard won an Excellence Award in the IABC Gold Quill Awards. IABC Gold Quill Awards honor strategic communication with impact.
Both the crossing guard campaign and a Relaunching Launch Fayette marketing campaign received NSPRA Golden Achievement awards. NSPRA School Communication Awards showcase the creativity, strategy, and impact of school communication professionals.
