The Peachtree Wind Ensemble Announces “Music Thru the Decades” Concert 

The Peachtree Wind Ensemble is thrilled to announce its upcoming concert, “Music Thru the Decades: A Journey of Song, A Lifetime of Memories,” on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at 3:00 PM. The performance will be held at Peachtree City United Methodist Church, 225 Robinson Road, Peachtree City, Georgia.

“Music Thru the Decades” promises to take audiences on an unforgettable musical journey through the evolution of popular music. The concert will feature a live, dynamic ensemble of community musicians performing memorable hits spanning the 1940s through 2025.

From the defining rock ‘n’ roll rhythms of the 1950s and the soulful Motown grooves of the 1960s, to the high-energy disco beats of the 1970s, electric stadium rock of the 1980s, and unforgettable pop and alternative anthems of the 1990s and beyond, the concert will showcase songs that provided the soundtrack to generations.

We have meticulously curated a setlist of chart-topping anthems and deeply loved classics that will have attendees singing along, dancing in the aisles, and reliving their favorite musical memories.”

About the Peachtree Wind Ensemble

The Peachtree Wind Ensemble is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that has served as Georgia’s Southern Crescent community band since 1991. The non-audition, 75-plus-member ensemble provides musicians and the community with opportunities to enjoy music together in and around Fayette and Coweta Counties, Georgia.

Members come from all professions and include amateur musicians, music professionals, former musicians returning to playing, as well as college, high school, and exceptional middle school students. Together, we share a passion for music and believe that a community rich in the arts flourishes.
