Still Hungry For Taste Of Trilith?

Sizzling summer heat couldn’t keep a hungry crowd away from the Taste of Trilith this weekend. While shaded alcoves offered a cool refuge from the sun, the irresistible aroma of gourmet creations wafted through the air, pulling festivalgoers straight toward the tented culinary stations.

Take a virtual food crawl in every little film I created there.. Come with me and The Citizen by just clicking below. Starting at the top and moving our way to the bottom, for the most authentic food crawl to get you hungry for a “Taste of Trilith ” all over again.

Framed by the sleek, vibrant backdrop of Trilith, the event was a masterclass in hospitality—staff and local restaurant teams greeted every attendee with genuine warmth and patience. Anchored by the infectious beats of the DJ which had guests dancing across the lawn, every corner of the grounds promised a fresh, delicious discovery.

Stop 1 was Hanna Brothers Kicking off the food crawl in style, Hanna Brothers served up insanely gooey Macaroni and Cheese Cups overflowing with cheese. Pulling off a crowd-pleasing mac and cheese for true compliments can be a stretch, but they nailed it—delivering incredibly rich moisture in every single bite. It was good enough to stop anyone in their tracks, but with a full crawl ahead, it was time to move on to the next dish.

Pressing through the most immense food crawl ever, we then land at Stop 8, that’s Fairway Social. Their infamous, crispy chicken tenders and fry bites were sure to impress. Catch a video of that here.

Stop 09 is Woodstone Bakery and Cafe who brought the sweets and their Strawberry Shortcake was a hit, but it led me to ENZO who is Stop 17 who was tucked away within the VIP suite but their ole school pizza oven was a nostalgic delight. Now somebody sneaked in with Shrimp n Grits and it was sooo good. Oh the food yawl – THE FOOD !!! Now somewhere in there I popped into the Funky Shack for their cute candy display and it was a core lock kid memory for me.

Saving the best for last was Stop 21 “Prologue” who’s slow cooked pork cheeks made me take my sandals off in real time. IT WAS THAT GOOD YAWL!!!!! It started raining and even the drops didn’t break my stride. Makes me want to relive “Taste of Trilith” eating points over and over — and not just on weekends.

Should we go back and peek inside their “Happy Hours” ? I’m gon’ ask my editor can I pop back into the fun happening in all the bellies at Trilith restaurants. Come back to my column here at The Citizen to slip away for a day here in Fayetteville, Georgia – one fun event at a time. See ya soon. – Thais`
