Lillian Elizabeth Helms McCay, Age 89 of Fayetteville, Ga. died Saturday, October 11, 2014.
Mrs. McCay was born March 18, 1925 in Glencoe, Ala.
An avid fisherman much of her life, “Miss Lil” and her sisters, Evelyn and Mildred “Sit” spent many hours together on lakes and rivers making fish lives miserable. Gardening was her other love. In her day she was quite a jitterbugger, also.
She passed into life eternal at the home of her daughter with her beloved cat, Lucy, by her side. Those who knew her will look at the sign which was hanging by her door for years . . . “Gone Fishing” and smile, knowing that she has.
