Oak Grove Elementary got a little extra help from five Junior Principals.

After they reported for “work,” they visited classrooms, celebrated students’ amazing work, made positive phone calls, filmed the morning announcements, opened car doors at arrival, and announced the school’s teacher of the year.

They also received safety updates from School Resource Officer Smiley.

The Junior Principals were drawn as part of a fundraiser for the Oak Grove Fun Run. The winners were Jordy Koch, Alissa Henry, Kanen Johnson, Isaac Johnson, and Reece Towery.

“The goal was to give students the opportunity to get a ‘behind the scenes’ school experience as a leader,” said Principal Chris Riecke. “We had a great time with our future leaders!”
