Noted Biblical scholar Dr. James Tabor will appear at The Shipyard in the Town at Trilith in Fayetteville, Georgia, on Tuesday, November 4th, at 6:30 p.m. The ticketed event, sponsored by Scholar & Scribe Bookshop and the Friends of the Peachtree City Library, is in support of Tabor’s latest book, The Lost Mary: Rediscovering the Mother of Jesus (Knopf, 2025). Dr. James Tabor retired (2022) as a full-Professor from the Department of Religious Studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he taught Christian origins and ancient Judaism, for 33 years, serving as Chair for a decade. He is currently a Distinguished Fellow of Humanities at Hebrew University, Jerusalem. Tickets are required for entry.
