To the Citizens of Peachtree City,

As leaders of Peachtree City’s industrial and manufacturing community, we are proud to endorse Mayor Kim Learnard for re-election.

Mayor Learnard has applied her deep experience in manufacturing, industry, and technical education to ensure that Peachtree City industries have the resources and support needed to prosper. She has fostered a positive culture in which both employers and employees want to live, work, and build their futures.

Her ability to connect industries with one another, with Southern Crescent Technical College, and with government leaders has strengthened our workforce pipeline and ensured that Peachtree City remains a competitive and attractive location for business growth. We have seen firsthand how her leadership has helped our companies thrive, and how her collaborative approach continues to drive innovation and opportunity across our community.

We are confident that under Mayor Learnard’s continued leadership, Peachtree City will remain the best place in Georgia to expand an industry and to grow a career. For these reasons, we wholeheartedly support her re-election. We also are confident many other industry leaders share our viewpoint.

    I’m always skeptical of CEOs who endorse candidates running for office, especially incumbents. Did any of these CEOs or any of the corporations they work for contribute to the mayor’s new-election campaign?

    This seems ridiculous to reply to as a simple google search solves it.

    James Clifton is an Attourney who does a lot of real estate closings. Google the Clifton Law Firm.

    I don’t know much about his platform other than he mirrors what Steve Brown says.

    James Clifton did handle my closing. He said he was the fastest closing Attourney in GA and flew through the pages at closing. Unfortunately he failed to collect a monetary portion of the terms from escrow.

    In the end it all worked out but it was sloppy to say the least.

    but he lives in ptc, not McDonough.

    so I checked. answer is inconclusive.

      Don, he has an active real estate license and multiple active listings. Both can be correct.

      So now I ask you. With how vehemently you opposed Ms. Fleish’s position as mayor AND her title as a realtor, how do you feel about a closing attorney who’s also a realtor being in that position?

      Use the Google to find his active listings if you don’t believe me.

        Okay, I did research.

        Fleisch was a realtor working within Peachtree city.

        From the link on Clifton he was in the Adent, not a realtor, and the property is property outside Peachtree city except for two units.

        Yes, it does make me uncomfortable.

        But having worked with the state his claims do not impress me. His agenda is one we heard from more on the role mayor and others. And his contributions filed with the state were all liberals,

        Mike King endorsing him is a turn off.

        Bottom line is these are our choices. So I’ll stick with Clifton.

            Never said you endorsed Clifton, Mike. You endorsed his opponent and Leanard. That is a turnoff.

      The direct phone number matches the same number for his campaign documents as well. Someone smarter than me can probably pull up his license.

      The reply with a link is pending moderation. Search on the google “James Clifton mls” and for me it’s the second option with “AREA” realty. Or, wait until the admins approve my link.

          Clifton is a realtor and part owner in a real estate brokerage.

          Do your looking and then tell me how this isn’t a huge red flag.
