Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Mark Bartels of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Diane Bartels, to Thomas Stanley Buller, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Henry Buller, of Billings, Mont.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Joyce Haselhorst Audiss and the late Dale Warren Audiss of Butte, Neb. and of Mrs. Beverly Magdanz Bennett and Gerald Wilmer Bartels both of Elk Grove, Calif. She is a 2000 graduate of McIntosh High School and a 2004 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Richmond, where she received bachelor of arts in English and German, and of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received a master of arts in English. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of English and Comparative Literature at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Augustine Corriea, of San Francisco, Calif., and of the late Joseph Wendelin Buller and the late Mrs. Jeanne Buller Bishop, both of Billings, Mont.He is a 1995 graduate of Billings Central Catholic High School, a 1999 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor of science in chemical engineering, and a 2002 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a master of science in environmental engineering. He is currently an environmental engineer with MACTEC Engineering in Greensboro, N.C.
A June 12 wedding is planned at the UNC Newman Catholic Student Center in Chapel Hill, N.C. Following their honeymoon, the couple will reside in Mebane, N.C.
