The pressure will be on Monday night when two dozen community leaders from around Fayette County will do their best to measure up to the occasion; and get the orders right. Far from the confines of law enforcement, legal issues or the business of running businesses or local government, the 24 will be volunteer servers for what should be a packed house at a charity dinner supporting child abuse prevention.

The occasion will be the Fayette FACTOR Prevent Child Abuse Coalition’s 2nd Annual Benefit Dinner Monday night at Frank’s at the Old Mill Restaurant on Ga. Highway 54 West in Fayetteville. The dinner will be held from 5-9 p.m.

FACTOR Director Becky Smith said the organization again this year will have a number of community leaders and elected officials serving as wait staff for the dinner. Smith said a total of 24 community leaders will be working the tables during the event. Among those will be Sheriff Wayne Hannah, District Attorney Scott Ballard and attorney Rhonda Kreuziger.
