Coweta Commissioner Blackburn thanked by Fayette Commission

Coweta County Commission Chairman Bob Blackburn (R) was honored Thursday night by the Fayette County Commission for cooperating with Fayette on a number of matters as he led the Coweta board this year. Blackburn, who was joined by his wife Jennifer and son Matt in accepting the honor, thanked his fellow commissioners and the Coweta County staff along with the cooperative spirit struck by the Fayette board. Blackburn added that Fayette and Coweta residents need to continue to work together, and his view “We are all brothers and sisters in the eyes of the Lord.” Photo/John Munford.
