Summit to offer parents’ night out
The Summit Church’s Family Resource Center will offer a Parent’s Night Out on Fridays from July 12- Aug. 9 from 6-9 p.m. During this time, dinner and Vacation Bible School will be offered for children having completed Kindergarten through fifth grade.  This is all at no charge but preregistration is requested. Greek ladies will host tea
God’s Green Earth, a Summer Tea hosted by Philoptochos Society (Friends of the Poor) of St. Christopher Hellenic Orthodox Church will be held on July 13 from noon to 2 p.m.  at the Peachtree City Event Center, 313 Dividend Dr. Ladies can enjoy a Greek twist on refreshments and are requested to wear their favorite hat. Local master gardeners will speak. Tickets are $25. For tickets, call Helen, 770-486-6580. All proceeds benefit charity.

Won by Faith to appear at Friendship UMC
Friendship United Methodist Church in Fayetteville will host a singing service Sunday, July 14, at 11 a.m.  highlighted by the award winning gospel quartet, Won by Faith. The quartet, hailing from Dallas, Ga., has sung with groups such as The Florida Boys, The Dixie Echos, The Anchorman and Palmetto State Quartet. New Lebanon’s homecoming is July 21
Squire Parsons, author of Beulah Land, will be the special guest for Homecoming this year, planned for July 21 at 10:30 a.m. Dinner on the grounds will be served following the service. New Lebanon Baptist Church is a country church located at 1674 Wagers Mill Road, Newnan, off of Wagers Mill Road and Ga. Hwy 16, near Georgia Power Plant Yates.
