Janice Kay Maddox Ordway of Peachtree City, Ga., devout Christian, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, has found eternal rest with our Heavenly Father. Born on Feb. 23, 1946, Janice leaves a lasting legacy of faith, courage, and service to others. Janice entered into eternity on Feb. 13, 2013.
Janice Ordway, wife of William (Bill) Ordway and daughter of Robert (Dan) and Julia Maddox of Jasper, Alabama leaves behind children Lisa (Chris) Ramig of Fayetteville, Whitney (Brandon) Purinton of Hapeville, Ga., grandson William Fitzgerald of Seale, Ala., brothers Ken (Brenda) Maddox of Lynchburg, Va., and John (Connie) Maddox of Birmingham, Ala., and numerous nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Providence United Methodist Church, 592 Bernhard Rd, Fayetteville, Ga. 30215. Visitation was on Friday, Feb. 15 from 6 – 8 p.m., also at Providence.
In lieu of flowers, Janice has requested that donations be made to the WWJD Sunday School class to be used to help others in the same generous way this class helped her. Please make checks to Ann Williams and mail to 275 Benjamin Circle, Fayetteville, Ga. 30214, with WWJD SS Class noted.
