Several senior adult groups at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church meet throughout the year for fellowship, exercise, luncheons and day trips.
The S.A.G.E. group (senior adults going everywhere)enjoys monthly outings to various attractions throughout the state. Transportation is provided but reservations usually are required.
This month (Feb. 24) the group has planned a trip to Tip Tap Two at ART Station in Stone Mountain.
Tip Tap Two consists of two members, Taps and Tre, whose styles rely on improvisation that contains complex rhythms and musical expressions along with tales of tap’s African American path.
Tickets are limited and reservations are required. Cost is $25 for tickets and transportation plus supper a la carte at pizza cafe. The bus will depart Sunday, Feb. 24, at 1:30 p.m. and will return at 8 p.m. Register and pay at the church office no later than Monday prior to the event.

The March trip will be to The World of Coke on Friday, March 22.
Titus II is a luncheon group which meets the first Tuesday of each month for lunch and a brief program. The cost of the meal is $6. Make reservations with Thomasina Miller, 770-462-9372, by noon Thursday prior to the meeting .
The walking group meets at 1 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in the Family Life Center, except for the first Tuesday when they meet at 1:30 p.m.
Walkers make a $1 donation each day they walk and support a variety of church projects and missions.
The Seasoned Singers rehearse at 1:30 p.m. each Tuesday in the choir room. Those age 55 and over are encouraged to join. Fore more information, contact TomRobinson, 770-461-7795 or [email protected].
