0The life-changing work being done at LIFE Academy has made the state stand up and take notice. LIFE Academy was well-represented at the recent Georgia Association of Alternative Education as presenters at the 33rd annual gathering, dubbed this year “Maintaining Excellence During Unprecedented Times.”
Dr. Margo Wimbish, Dean of Students for Fayette LIFE Academy, spoke on the topic “Extreme Makeover: Virtual and Alternative Program.”
Counselors Dr. Beverly Brown and Dr. Carolyn McDermott presented the topic “Counseling in the Alternative Setting.”
