0The leaderboard was full of Fayette at the Griffin RESA Regional Middle School Math Contest.
It was a clean sweep in Division III for larger schools, with Rising Star Middle winning 1st place, Whitewater in 2nd place, and Flat Rock in 3rd. Rising Starr’s Zimri Cauble won the overall individual championship, with Shihyun Park, also of Rising Starr, in 3rd place.
The Griffin RESA High School Math Contest is a regional competition among middle schools in the Griffin RESA region which consists of the following school systems: Butts, Fayette, Henry, Lamar, Newton, Pike, Spalding, and Upson.
