Leilani Lyles has a vision for art with a purpose. Leilani, a student at Fayetteville Elementary, submitted a design for the 39th Annual National Missing Children’s Day Poster Contest and saw her work selected as the best in the state of Georgia.

The National Missing Children’s Day Poster Contest is a nationwide contest open to 5th graders designed to promote awareness among teachers, parents/guardians, and children and engage them in discussions about safety. This year’s theme is “Bringing Our Missing Children Home.”

As a state winner, Leilani’s design advances to the national judging competition where she could be selected as the national winner.
