Cheer on the hometown kid and the home team when the Atlanta Hawks host the Houston Rockets for the season opener.

On Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 7:30, the Hawks tipoff the new season against the Rockets and number 3 overall draft pick Jabari Smith, the Sandy Creek High alum via Auburn University.

The Hawks are offering discounted tickets to FCBOE employees and the community. Everyone who purchases tickets through the Fayette County link will be able to sit together in a block seating, and $5 will be donated to the Fayette County Education Foundation for each ticket sold. Fans will also get a free T-shirt courtesy of State Farm.
