Payton Silvers will perform at Senoia UMC October 28

Senoia United Methodist Church will welcome Payton Silvers as the guest soloist on Oct. 28 at the 10:55 a.m. morning worship service.

Silvers is a Southern Gospel tenor singer from the north Georgia town of Kingston who has been singing since the age of eight. He is a sergeant with the Bartow County Fire Dept.

He has attended the Steve Hurst School of Music at Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn., for the past four years, working alongside some of the best singers and musicians in Southern Gospel music.

Silvers sang with the Rome Boys Club Choir for seven years while in his teens. He does numerous concerts throughout the year at different churches and functions and sings in his church choir at Taylorsville Baptist Church.

Silvers is married to Dawn Cochran Silvers, and they have two sons, Ryan and Matthew. They are members of Taylorsville Baptist Church and reside in Kingston.
