0Doug and Shirley Vincent of Senoia will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on June 21, 2012.
They will observe the occasion by enjoying a brunch with family on June 24 at Rays on the River.
The Vincents were married June 21, 1952 at Antioch Baptist Church in Hogansville.
Mr. Vincent retired from Doug Vincent Plumbing Company in 1991, a company he started in 1978. He was active for 20 years in the Georgia Football Officials Association (GFOA). He officiated high school football games, in which he was an umpire. This led him to be on the “Chain Crew” at the University of Georgia for 20 years at all the home games.
They are the proud parents of four children. They have two daughters, Deborah and Todd Cross, of Senoia, and Vickie and Zane Lindstrom also of Senoia, and two sons, James “Vince” and Cathy Vincent, of Woodstock, and Van and Cristy Vincent of Marietta.
Mr. and Mrs Vincent have seven wonderful grandchildren and a loving three year old Shih Tzu, Molly.
