This Thursday, March 28th the Starr’s Mill High School soccer teams will face off versus McIntosh in the annual Battle For The Troops. The game will be at Starr’s Mill High School.
This game will showcase the crosstown rivalry between two soccer powerhouses while also raising money for the American Legion. Our local posts — Post 50 and Post 105 — will be performing the color guard before each game. All money raised will be split between the two posts.
There will be a flyover featuring the Peachtree City RV Squadron, led by Bob “Waldo” Walden. The national anthem will feature local artists and students. There will be food trucks and Chick-fil-A sandwiches available to purchase.
The Varsity Girls game starts at 6 p.m. and the Varsity Boys play at 8 p.m. Veterans get in free, with military ID. Come out and support your local American Legion.
