A fire Sunday night drove a Peachtree City family from their home and investigators are still looking into what may have caused it.
An official with Peachtree City Fire Rescue said there was no significant structural damage to the residence on Longer Drive and no one was injured. First responders received the call Dec. 10 at approximately 10 p.m.
“The family is safe,” according to an official. “No injuries.”
The two-story home is uninhabitable at this time. There was plenty of smoke damage and the power has been cut off to the property.
The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
