Annual Youth Economic Empowerment Workshop returns April 22

Middle school and high school students, parents, and guardians are invited to the free annual Fayette NAACP Youth Economic Empowerment Workshop on Saturday, April 22, 2023.

April is Financial Literacy Month, and the Fayette County Youth Council will sponsor its annual workshop. The forum will cover topics such as goal setting, budgeting, saving, spending, borrowing, and using credit.

The workshop will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fayette County Public Library at 1821 Heritage Pkwy. in Fayetteville. The event is free, and lunch will be served. To ensure an accurate count for lunch please register by Wednesday, April 19 via  http://bit.ly/40Zgvjf.
