Fayetteville, March 19, 2025 – In October 2024, a group of about 50 Fayette County leaders traveled to Bentonville, Arkansas to share ideas on community development. These same leaders have now joined to create Fayette Forward, a nonprofit organization founded to partner in making Fayette County into a premier destination for businesses, families, and individuals alike.
By focusing on key areas such as creating a county-wide path system and addressing the county’s needs in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Fayette Forward will build community connections and establish strong local alliances to maximize the county’s already high quality of life. Fayette Forward’s initiatives will support established industries, attract new investments, and enhance the county’s existing strengths.
“Through collaboration and strategic planning, we are dedicated to positioning ourselves as a place where businesses can prosper, families can thrive, and our mutual quality of life is optimized, said Chairman Darryl Hicks. “Fayette County’s thriving community will be preserved and strengthened by working together to achieve shared goals,” said Eric Dial, Executive Director of Fayette Forward.
So beautiful, organically made communities are going to be transformed into the same template of all the other towns that have already done it? SODASOPAs everywhere? I don’t think this place needs it & if you asked, most wouldn’t want it. It’s beyond ‘the slip showing’.
