The Frustration of Wasted Time and Money

If there’s one thing I’ve learned while building a business, or several, it’s how frustrating it can be to invest in things that don’t deliver. The courses, the tools, the strategies. Sometimes they work, but sometimes they don’t. And when they don’t, you’re left wondering if you’re spinning your wheels, wasting valuable time and money that could’ve been used elsewhere.

I’ve been there. The feeling of taking two steps forward, only to get knocked three steps back. The constant search for the “right” solution, only to realize later that I wasn’t even asking the right questions. And worst of all? Trying to do it all alone.

We’re Not Meant to Do This Alone

We are communal creatures. We thrive when we connect, when we share ideas, and when we learn from each other. No one builds something great in isolation.

In the beginning, when I began building businesses, I had to realize that the strongest, most successful entrepreneurs didn’t just “figure it out.” They surrounded themselves with people who had the answers, the tools, and the knowledge to help them grow. The answer I was looking for in frustration was often already within my reach, if I just took a moment to slow down and see it.

Build Today, Not Just for Tomorrow

That strategy you’ve been struggling to nail down? Someone has tested it. The tool you need to make your process easier? Someone is using it. The connection that could change everything? It might be one conversation away. You just won’t find any of it by trying to do everything alone.

I challenge us all today not to miss an opportunity because we’re too focused on what’s coming tomorrow, or stuck in frustration.

Be present. Be open. Reach out. The more we engage with those around us, the stronger we become, not just in business, but in life. When I get frustrated about something today, I try to remind myself to do three things.

  1. Ask for help when you need it.
  2. Share what you’re struggling with because someone has been in your shoes.
  3. Be willing to connect with the people who have walked the path before you.

No one builds something great by staying in their own lane. Growth happens when you step out, reach out, and tap into the power of the people around you. What are you dealing with in this season of life? What challenges are you facing? Let’s start a conversation, let’s build each other up!
