
2025 Teachers of the Year – chosen by their fellow teachers in each of the Coweta County School System’s 33 schools – will be honored by the Coweta County Board of Education on Tuesday, March 25.
Teachers of the Year are selected by their fellow certified teachers at each school in recognition of exemplary teaching and professional leadership, and serve as ambassadors of their profession. This year’s honorees represent teachers working in 1st through 12th grade, and a range of educational disciplines including English/Language Arts, math, science, social sciences, special education, and health and physical education
They will be honored at the Coweta County Teacher of the Year Program on March 25, held at the Nixon Centre for Performing and Visual Arts at 7:00 p.m.. The Coweta County Board of Education presents the program annually with the Newnan Pilot Club. The 2025 Coweta County Teacher of the Year – who is also chosen by current and former Coweta educators – will be announced at that program.
